Volunteers and Leadership Training

Volunteer applicants undergo a rigorous recruitment process from the application stage through the collection of references to the interview, and their DBS checked and cleared to be suitable for the role.

Volunteers and staff are to attend the training designed to build upon their previous knowledge of children ministry, care of children, and children spirituality, innocence, and vulnerability. They are to study the introduction to the Bible Club programmes and ethos, the safeguarding of vulnerable children, and the biblical principles of children ministry.

Most trainings will take two half day or a day long sessions in the form of a retreat for volunteers and staff of the Bible Club. The training will be facilitated by specialilst on each of the topic and themes to be discussed in the training.

Contact us if you have a Christian ministry need for children in your church or community for our guidance and support. There is a standard requirement for starting Bible Club in a school or commnunity and this would be discussed on individual basis with the support of the thirtyone:eight safeguarding personnel.
