About Us
Our motivation
God is in the action of changing life. We want to join Him. ‘Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.’ (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Our activities and why
We provide space for young people to exercise and play. They play table tennis, foosball table, outdoor games and other activities according to their age group, then progress to study the Bible, practise musical instruments, pray and develop their faith in the LORD Jesus Christ.
The founder, Akintayo Olayinka had a master’s degree in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Ibadan with a dissertation on the Antony Flew’s discourse on Freewill and Determinism. Towards the end of his dissertation writing in October 2005, Flew shifted from atheism to deism. Flew’s understanding of the helix structure of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) to have emerged by an Intellegence (intellegence design) became a strong turning point in the life of the 86 year old Professor of Moral Philosophy. When asked if he was becoming a believer in God, Flew replied that he was only becoming a deist. An atheist since the age of 15 became a deist at 86. This led Akintayo to invest more of his time to support young people in their quest for knowledge about God, the Bible, Jesus and the way of Salvation.
Our Values
We seek Christ, know Him and make Him known. We provide space for people, especially children and youth to know the Lord Jesus, grow in the knowledge of God’s word and live by the power of the Holy Spirit. We have a vision to reach many with the gospel of Christ, to disciple them for Church growth and help them experience God’s love on practical terms. We gather to study God’s word and worship God in Spirit and in Truth, and provide support for new believers. We have used ‘Christ Indwelling Your Life’ discipleship programme and the Four Spiritual Laws for our members. We have also done a series of book study from the Bible such as Genesis, Exodus, 1 Samuel, Matthew, Mark, Amos, Ruth and Jude, during our midweek meetings.
Our Belief
We believe the LORD Jesus Christ well spoken of in the Bible as the way of Salvation given by the creator God for human redemption.
Our Community
We began in Leeds, West Yorkshire in April 2011 and many of the children and youth in the past cohorts have become adults, university graduates and well placed in the society. We look forward to starting the Bible Club in other towns and villages wherever requests are made, hence we want to provide elaborate information on our website to assist in translation to a few number of languages. What we have heard from Jesus Christ and the Scripture, interpreted correctly, such we want to commit to the hands of those who will be able to teach others.

Boys and girls are welcome to Bible Club. Safeguarding is in place, provided by Thirtyone:eight

We held the 2024 summer programme in various parks of the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire
Our Service
We meet on week days and sometimes on Saturday outside of the school hour
Our Special Events
We try to document some of our programmes for others to have access in the future. There is refreshment at the end of most of our meetings.
